These specifications have been adopted by the Board of Directors of the Cortez Sanitation District for the following purposes:
- To supplement the rules and regulations of the District.
- To insure the consistency of design and construction for all sanitary sewers connecting to the District’s existing collection and outfall system.
- To standardize the District’s plan submittal, review and acceptance procedures. Anyone working with this District Manual should be aware that if a variance is required that person can request an appearance before the Board of Directors for discussion. If additional costs or fees are to be incurred by the District then the party seeking a varrance shall be responsible for these costs irrespective of Board approval of such variance.
